Even the smallest thing is made in-house
At Vindex Industries, even the smallest item is made in-house. Nothing is purchased ready-made from outside.
That is a choice, and it is a deliberate one. A spindle bolster is an assembly of many parts, and every part decides how the assembly runs. When a part is bought ready-made, its quality arrives as someone else's decision. When it is made in-house, its quality stays in our own hands — down to the smallest part.
Why it matters: RA value, taper, flatness, runout, ovality
Making everything in-house is how the qualities that decide a spindle's running are maintained:
- RA value — the surface finish, held to the standard the part needs.
- Taper — the fit that decides how the part seats and holds.
- Flatness — the face that must sit true, without rocking or gaps.
- Runout — the truth of rotation, kept under control so the spindle runs without wobble.
- Ovality — the roundness that must stay round, not drift into oval.
Quality is not inspected into a part at the end. It is maintained through every part, because every part is made under the same roof, by the same hands, to the same standard.
The people who make it
The workers who make these parts are all high-end trained and experienced persons. In-house manufacturing only works when the people making the parts know what each parameter does to the finished spindle — and ours do, because this is the work they have been trained for and have done for years.
A machine does not know whether a part was bought or made. But the mill running that machine knows, in the vibration, in the yarn, and in the maintenance bill. Parts made in-house, by trained and experienced hands, run the way they were intended to run.
What this means for your mill
When you order from Vindex, you are not ordering an assembly of bought-out parts. You are ordering parts made in-house — down to the smallest one — with RA value, taper, flatness, quality, runout and ovality maintained throughout, by workers who are trained and experienced.
Send your machine make and model. Vindex Industries manufactures textile spindles and bolsters at Surendranagar, Gujarat, and exports to spinning and twisting mills in 87 countries.
