Veejay VJ-100M Spindle Bolster: Fitment and Replacement Guide

The VJ-100M bolster runs on Veejay Lakshmi two-for-one twisters, where it carries the spindle at continuous high twisting speeds. Because a TFO spindle never really rests during a shift, bolster wear shows up as quality and efficiency loss long before anything looks broken.

Wear signs to watch

Listen and feel: rising noise, vibration at the spindle rail, and yarn tension that drifts across positions point to bolster wear. Hot bolsters, darkened or degraded oil, and spindles that do not run true are later signs — by then the bearings are already past their best.

Before you order

Confirm the machine model (VJ-100M and its variants take specific bolsters), count how many positions need replacement, and check whether you need the bolster alone or the assembly. Replacing bolsters in sets across a machine section keeps every position running alike — mixing worn and new bolsters side by side creates uneven tension.

Fitting tips
