Vindex product reference; not a photograph of the customer’s installation.

The pattern: new bolster, same problem

A customer in Gujarat had bought spindle bolsters and spindles for Muratec 310A machines from many suppliers — in Gujarat and across India. The result was the same everywhere: problems in all of them.

And every time a problem came, the answer was the same too: change the new spindle bolster. The mill agreed, the bolster was changed, and the problem stayed. Changing the part had become the routine — solving the problem had not.

Going to the mill

The difference this time was simple: Vindex went to the customer's mill. Parth himself went, and his technical person went there too, and together they did a proper analysis of the problem — at the machine, not over the phone.

That is where the problem was actually understood. A bolster problem is rarely only a bolster problem: balancing, vibration and heating all show up in the same position, and unless the analysis finds which one is driving the others, a new bolster only restarts the same cycle.

The proper solution

With the problem properly identified, Vindex gave the proper solution and provided new spindle bolsters — matched to the Muratec 310A: HZ-3C, HZ-33, HZ-44, HZ-55, HZ-66, HZ-68 and HZ-77 range with 20, 24 and 28 mm neck-bearing options, speeds up to 10,000 rpm, lift up to 250 mm, wharve diameter 25.4 mm and above, ring diameter 2.5/3 inch, EN-31 blade and EN-24 wharve, built for TFO yarn, cotton and jute duties.

And with the new bolsters, the machine's balancing, vibration and heating problems were solved — the three problems that had survived every earlier bolster change.

From one machine to every machine

The customer had first given an order for 1 machine. Today, for all the machines the customer has, spindle bolsters are taken from nobody except Vindex. That is the trust level the mill visit built: not a promise, but a problem analysed on site, solved properly, and never returned.

The lesson for other mills

If changing bolsters has become your routine and the problem is still there, the answer is not another new bolster. It is an analysis at the machine. Send your machine make and model — and if the problem needs it, Vindex will come to the mill and find it. Vindex Industries manufactures textile spindles and bolsters at Surendranagar, Gujarat, and exports to spinning and twisting mills in 87 countries.
